Thanks for the help, i managed to fix the power button but for some reason the power light's not working but that doesn't matter thanks for the fix.

just wanted to add that the lasers go on ebay for <$10 now, probably closer to $5... so if you're looking at the $55 for the laser assembly think $5. My laser has broken twice now for no reason and the $5 price on ebay is nothing! Since I've replaced it twice before I didn't need this guide but its definitely well written! except for the $5 thing!!  !!
